It’s so hard to believe that #23 is entering the Hall of Fame in the next few weeks…if you’re like me, you have held on to the slightest of hopes that he was going to lace them up one more time and be the MJ of old. I remember there was talk of him going straight into the Hall after his playing career was done without waiting the normal 5 year grace period, but playing for the Wizards didn’t help that cause I guess and we had to wait. Well it’s been 5 years since then and now he is going to lace them up for a whole new occasion, induction into the basketball HOF. Congrats MJ, you are a LEGEND and in honor of your big day I will post a new pic of the biggest moments in your career everyday until your induction. Thanks for the memories and of course the little sneaker line with the Jumpman logo on them…

Translation – Brandon Marshall has been acting like a spoiled ass child almost the whole off-season in Denver this year. According to the Denver Post, the punishment stems from Marshall’s “shameful display of unprofessionalism” during Wednesday’s practice. You know, crap like punting a ball away while the ball boy was reaching out to get it, walking while the team was running, and now even bothering to run routes and catch passes like every other reciever on the team. Just the fun stuff. So now ol’ BM (lol)  will sit out at least the rest of the pre-season. Talk about crapping all over a great career.

I was put in a happy place the other day when I found out that Michael Vick will be back on the field (all be it pre-season) tonight as the Eagles (hi cheerleader) take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. As reported by his head coach, Mike will probably get a pretty good amount of time in the first half of the game. I mean he hasn’t been on the Field in damn near 740 days so, lets not expect much okay? Look at this.  But the game is on tonight, so whatelse are we gonna do at Lucky’s Pub tonight?

 I guess after leaving his putter at home a couple of weeks ago in the final round of the PGA Championship, ol Tiger is now taking a swing at the Barclays.

After going winless in the last four majors, this will be Tiger’s first run in the Fedex Cup opener since 2003 at the Westchester Country Club. Yea thats in Jersey.

Knowing that is pretty much the only important title left for this season, why the hell is Dude not at home doing this instead? Come on my man, you lead the tour with five victories, and made next to $7,000,000 this year. WTF?

this is the first time I’ve seen this shoe, and I must say, being the Vans head that I am, I can dig the simplicity and similarity to the classic Chukka. I would love to try a pair of these on. This obviously would be a sick skate shoe, but as far as I can tell its not in the SB fam….YET. Mark my word….it will be at some point. I took the chance to dig around a lil bit, and did find these previous models. This shoe apparently hasn’t been in production very long, which would explain why I haven’t seen it yet. The black ones above apparently are dropping as a quickstrike in September. I’ll make my calls now. -Ish

 What boggles my mind are the dollars that are being discussed to get spanish basketball phenom Ricky Rubio out of his deal with his current team in Spain. He’s 18 freaking years old people and he just recently graduated from Hogwarts Academy with a degree in the art of passing wizardry.

The Spanish newspaper Marca said Regal FC Barcelona had agreed to pay Rubio’s former team, DKV Joventut, 3.7 million Euros ($5.28 million U.S.) for the rights to the 18-year-old playmaker who was taken by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the fifth pick of June’s NBA draft.
