Steve Phillips Fired

With the start of the World Series on our heals, ESPN’s Baseball Tonight analyst Steve Phillips has been released from the payroll of “The Disney Sports Channel”. Yes Disney owns ABC, which is owned by…. never-mind. In a statement released late Sunday (so it would fly under the radar) Steve was sent to greener pastures. So to speak. Hey, but last week he was “granted” a “leave of absence” though right? Looks like its gonna be a little longer than we all expected.
“Steve Phillips is no longer working for ESPN,” network spokesman Josh Krulewitz said in a statement. “His ability to be an effective representative for ESPN has been significantly and irreparably damaged, and it became evident it was time to part ways.”
 Translation:
“Dude, you cant be bumping and grinding with the ‘strange’ on the road when you’re towing the company line. And if you do decide to throw down on the road, (#1) Don’t get caught, (#2)Make sure the she’s not f*cking crazy! (like this) and (#3) Not with her!
Fun fact: Steve’s wife recently filed for divorce.
I hate to end on such a sad note, so look at this.
