Trady Might Be On The Move

I'll take three of these over one of McGrady anyday

As reported earlier today by the Houston Chronicle (sorry, I was in my truck when I heard) The Houston Rockets along with the agent(s) of Tracy McGrady have agreed to start dealing with trade talk.

With Rockets coach Rick Adelman unable to predict when McGrady will get significant playing time, McGrady’s representatives Monday asked that the Rockets trade McGrady, according to a person with the Rockets with knowledge of the decision. Rockets general manager Daryl Morey agreed Monday to try to trade McGrady during talks with McGrady’s representatives. Morey declined comment Monday.

McGrady, a 6-8 guard/forward, said last week he hoped to sign with the Rockets again next offseason to remain in Houston, but that if he is traded, “Whoever gets me is going to get a “hungry player. “I don’t care if I go to the damn moon,” he said. “It doesn’t matter.”

Well take yo ass to the moon playboy. How awesome would it be to have a team on the moon?

I personally never saw this one coming. Do you guys remember how willing Tracy was to play alongside his cousin Vince Carter in Toronto? Naw, me either. Oh, i know. How about his unearthly dedication to the Orlando Magic? No again? You’re right. Well at least he was instrumental in leading the Rockets to a second round bid in the playoffs…. Damn it. Nevermind.

Dangit. And he was so good! The Rockets were so lucky to have such a strong player while we had them. I’ll never forget seeing my man palming the ball behind his back at the top of the key while the shot clock runs out and then jacking a flat ass three pointer straight to the front of the rim.
