Von Wafer… Not a Rocket.

So let I get this straight. Von Wafer buys out his contract with the International Giant the Greek Olympiacos, for $1.2 million, then decides to return to the Houston Rockets after not sighing a deal to be a part of the team (or the NBA for that matter)? And all would be well?
When asked, coach Adelman said:
“We’ll wait and see. He proved last year he could play for us. We’ll just have to see how the whole thing works out. We know him, we know what he can do off the bench and we’ll see how it plays out.”
Damn right you’ll wait and see cause dude failed his physical today. Really? What the hell were you overseas doing bro? Now i bet you wish you woulda signed in the first place huh?
Thank god I was too drunk to post the news of Wafer’s (return) yesterday. I hate going back to update. Have you seen my computer? Anyway….
So as reported by Chron.com today:The Rockets on Wednesday signed former Rockets and Rice forward Mike Harris to fill the vacant roster spot and provide depth with guard Chase Budinger out for several weeks with a sprained right ankle.
“Mike Harris has been the best player in the D-League and instrumental in the Vipers 7-3 start,” Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said. “He will be a quality addition to our team. We are excited to add him.”

So the Rockets have that going for them, which is nice.
