Lane Kiffin Introduced Finally at USC

Wow, that took forever….
After being the head coach of Tennessee for 14 months, Lane Kiffin (his wifey is kinda fine)officially takes on his “dream job” as the USC head coach. What’s sweeter than that? If you ask Kiffin, nothing. And now there’s promises of running a squeaky-clean program with a investigation looming over the football program.
The former and longtime assistant coach of USC said he couldn’t pass this chance up.

“This is a place that was very special to me for a long time,”
Awww. That’s nice. Except for the part where Lane held a 60 second press conference to announce that he was leaving Tennessee to go to USC in the wee hours of the night. And of course there had to be a police escort to get him the hell out of there. Sounds like this wasn’t spur of the moment huh?
And the UT (the other one) fans were not amused. At all. The skys filled with an orange glow of police lights and mattresses burning as far as the eye can see. Oh and the Kiffin family made damn sure to remove his car from its reserved spot before the party started. Smart man.
Even the famed UT rock got in on the action

Ummm… Stay classy Tennessee.
But at least now Kiffin gets to enjoy the WHITE SWEATERS! (yup, they are still my favorite college cheerleaders) And thats nice.

I think it’s funny that when a coach does this to small time school, it’s no big deal, but when a big time program loses a coach to another big time program, it’s heresy.
