Well hopefully everyone had a good weekend.I myself had a pretty good weekend.I had a great time djing at the PAUL Mitchell school with my friend donkeeboy(www.donkeeboy.com) for a crazy art showcase and runway show with me ending up being real sick afterwards  from my knee medication(trying to be derek jeter at short lol).Anyways on to the basketball talk.I had a chance this weekend to sit down for a few hours saturday and sunday (which rarely happens with two kids)and got to see some NBA action.The Lakers vs.Nuggets game was awesome and funny seeing Kobe have a bad game and whine so much(I have never seen him cry so  much for calls…..hey Kobe “quit crying,we know your good and get calls but don’t act like a soccer player with your dramatics”.To my surprise I got to watch all the MAVS games this weekend.Those guys are really on a tear with Dirk “always shoot at the top of the key”Novitski making everything.Just wanted to sumeup my weekend here.Here’s the top 2 vids that were in my head from my NBA weekend.

There’s talks around the innerwebs about what Jerry West (one of the great lakers ball players in the early days) having a biography and talking about Magic Johnson’s way’s with the Ladies.

Supposedly there is a passage in the Jerry West Bio that claims:

That November, as a new season was set to open, Magic Johnson announced to the world that he was HIV positive, a stunning event that brought revelations about the climate of sexual frivolity around the Lakers. Johnson admitted he had been sleeping with 300-500 people a year.

Well I’m starting to hear all the talks from ESPN and Fox sports about the MVP talks and what I’ve been hearing as far as the Two main candidates is Lebron James and Kevin Durant. For me it’s a tough call cause Lebron has been carrying his team to victories with some help from the supporting cast of teammates minus in my opinion Mr.Shaq(I still can’t believe they let him make the crap of a movie KAZAAM and the absolutely horrible game called SHAQ-FU: there’s an actual site dedicated to burning every copy of  that horrible game).On that note I think Lebron will take the title but mainly due to popularity.Don’t get it twisted I feel he has been having a wonderful season but don’t think this has been his most spectacular season so far.

I have to say that this Superbowl was awesome.It ended up not being the offensive power-packed game I thought it would be but I did expect some aggressive defensive stops as well as special teams(Coach Payton had some serious brass balls to onside kick to start off the second half with a bang).

I was not feeling The Who performance at all,the only thing going for it was the fantastic stage video screens.Couldn’t they have called Jay Z,Muse,U2, at least someone from the damn century to perform.I know that there scared from Janet Jackson’s boobie mishap but C’mon man you really think Carrie Underwood is going to show the goods.Step it up CBS exec.

Before the season started this image was one of happiness for coach childress and favre and to kickoff the season with an offense that was simply dominating with play-makers like Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin everything seemed to look good.But lately this wonderful image is turning into a daytime soap opera and with the performance of recent games that resulted in losses to underachieving teams it seems to look like a ticking time bomb on a promising post season run for the Superbowl.Hopefully the Vikings are able to turn it around but will need to get there running game going again like it did earlier in the season or there time is up.

Hey my new inner web friends.I’m the new guy Dj Gonz spinning all the music and running the mobile show for the team.I’ll be posting up mixes for you guys to listen to as well as anything interesting and bizarre to share with you.I got to say that this football Sunday is going to be crazy.I’m looking forward to see if the Texans can win out the rest of the season(Schaub is having his greatest year yet: So far 4181 total yds of passing with a QB rating of 98.9 ).Have a great Christmas.My question to you is………..???

I’m not sure I could ever drive myself to actually wear a pair of Supra Skytops, but nonetheless they have some sort of market value apparently.  If I were to rock any Supras, I’d go with the new “Thunder”, not coincidentally designed by Jim Greco (formerly on VANS).  Here are your Skytops, and Vaders, a Suprano…along with a nice lil Supra x Deathwish  “Thunder” colabo  for this fine Holiday season…..

anyone who knows anything about anything knows that Supreme has been puttin it down with Vans for quite sometime now, and together they have created many works of shear beauty.  Anyone that knows anything about me knows I lay it down for Vans…soooooo….did you really think I wouldn’t get this up?  Behold, your Fall/Winter Supreme/Vans collabo.   Although these are really dope, I’m really kinda tired of the checker and houndstooth thing, and don’t the reds and yellows remind you too much of Summer?  These def don’t scream “Winter” to me, but as with anything Supreme puts their name on, these will go fast and they’re probably already sold out.  Ebayers, get your shop on.  I’m just upset that there was no Sk8 Hi in this pack, but I’ll get over it I suppose, if I can score this buttery yellow Sk8 Lo, or do I really want the reds?????
